From the first day of it’s announcement we are expecting that this will be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro Series. Finally the reality became the same. But Why did POCO is releasing these rebranded verisons in India. Where’s the fire it shown in it’s first flagship mobile POCO F1 Pro. Just adding a name PRO at the end will not make a mobile PRO. There should be some set of features and specs which desrves the hype and it’s name.
Let’s put these things apart and discuss about the origin of POCO M2 Pro. This is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro Global version. POCO and Xiaomi are know for their tactical marketing.
Even though Redmi Note 9 Pro is performing well in India, They again made a rebranded version of it with very little improvements.
But here we got one point why this Poco M2 Pro makes sense, Redmi Note 9 Pro has a huge 5000 mAh Battery with just 18W Fast charger, which takes it more than 1 and half hour to charge from 0 to 100. Where as Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has 33W Fast charger, But due to higher megapixel cameras it costs more than usual.
Thus POCO M2 Pro fills the gap between Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
