With the sale of Realme 6i going live today, is it the best phone you can buy, or the already existing Poco M2 Pro which is priced similarly is the better one.

Design and Display:

Poco comes with a glass sandwich design with a plastic frame while the Realme comes with a plastic build. Poco also comes with a slightly bigger 6.67 inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD while the Realme comes with a 6.5 inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD but Realme comes back with a higher 90Hz Refresh Rate while the Poco comes with a standard 60Hz display.

Internals and Software:

The 6i is powered by the Mediatek G90T and the M2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 720G. Speaking of their performance both are almost similar but the G90T having a slightly more powerful GPU and 720G with the more powerful CPU. The 6i comes with Realme UI based on Android 10 and M2 Pro comes with Poco Launcher based on MIUI running on top of Android 10.

Battery and Charging:

The M2 Pro comes with a huge 5000mAh battery while the 6i only comes with a 4300mAh battery and M2 Pro also comes with a 33W charger in the box for fast charging while the 6i has support for 30W fast charging but it only comes with a 20W charger inbox.

Camera:

Both the phones come with a quad-rear camera. The Realme comes with 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth while the Poco comes with 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 5 MP macro, and 2MP depth. On the selfie side, both come with a 16MP sensor.

Pricing:

The Poco M2 Pro for the base 4GB+64GB variant priced at Rs. 13,999 while the 6GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 and the highest-end 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs. 16,999, while the Realme 6i for the base 4GB+64GB variant priced at Rs. 12,999 while the 6GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs. 14,999.

Verdict:

If your priority is gaming then the 90Hz refresh rate of the Realme 6i will be a better. If you don’t care about the 90Hz then as a whole package Poco M2 Pro looks like a better option.
