After a lot of teaser and leaks of a budget 5G phone, Realme has finally launched its new Realme V5 in China and this is everything about the V5.

Design and Display:
The front of the phone comes with a single punch hole on the left for the selfie camera while the back comes with a square cut-out for the camera with a different finish based on the color you choose, the silver variant comes with a matte finish with a huge Realme logo while the green and blue variants come with a two-tone matte finish with a smaller Realme logo. Talking about Display, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Internals and Software:
The phone comes with the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, which is a 7nm octa-core chipset with support for dual-mode 5G connectivity (SA/ NSA) support. The phone also comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also comes support for microSD cards up to 256GB.
Battery and Charging:
The phone also comes with a huge 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charger in the box, which can charger the phone from null to full in 65 minutes. The phone also has with USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Camera:
The phone comes with a Quad-rear camera, the primary one is 48MP (f/1.8) sensor, the second one is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree FOV, the third one is a 2MP macro lens, and the final one is a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 16MP (f/2.1) sensor.
Price and Availability:
The base variant 6GB+128GB is priced at 1,499 yuan (~Rs. 16,150) while the higher variant 8GB+128GB is priced at 1,899 yuan (~Rs. 20,465). The phone is will be available to buy from 7th August in China.
